Let me break down The Savvy Signer training for you...

You will receive access to a private membership portal with your own personal login credentials to access 28 training lessons, including video based instruction.

The instruction will take you from understanding how to obtain your notary license/commission and getting certified to guiding you through how to conduct the closings and securing your first appointment.

You will be able to download sample closing packages, checklists and MORE to help you in your new role as a Notary Signing Agent.  Most importantly, you will have an experienced trainer and mentor to guide to help you along the way!

After you complete the training, you will:

  1. Know what you can and cannot do as a Notary Signing Agent.
  2. Know how to obtain your notary commission in your state.
  3. Understand how to prepare and take the Notary Signing Agent certification exam through the National Notary Association.
  4. Be able to close cash and sell side transactions and to conduct loan signings.
  5. Understand common terminology and the parties involved in the transactions.
  6. Have a proven process to follow of what you should do pre and post appointments.
  7. Know how to review and explain the documents to the signer(s).

Frequently Asked Questions

A notary signing agent is a commissioned notary who ensures that real estate and/or loan documents are signed correctly, notarized and returned timely. Notary Signing Agents are also sometimes known as Loan Signing Agents, Closers or Contract Closers. When a person buys, refinances, remortgages or sells a home, the Notary Signing Agent will be hired directly from a title company or a signing agency. You will either print or pick up the documents, meet with the buyer, borrower or seller to guide them through signing their paperwork, collecting or disbursing any related funds, and doing so with minimal to zero errors. 

Individuals who enjoy working with the public, provide excellent customer service, pay close attention to detail and who are or soon to be commissioned notaries. You don't have to have any previous experience.

It varies depending on the number of closings/signing appointments you complete and if you do this part time or full time. You can earn between $75 to $150 depending on the type of transaction that you complete. There have been instances where I have made up to $300 on a loan signing in a situation where there was a first and second mortgage and was considered after hours work. This is not typical, but it is possible in states with higher priced real estate.

You may choose to pay the one time registration fee of $495.00 OR pay three equal payments of $190. If you choose to secure your space in the course with the payment plan, the first payment will be charged on the the initial day of registration and each installment will be automatically charged to the payment method on file, every 30 days until paid in full.

Yes. If you request a refund, you must do so within 72 hours of your initial payment and the fees paid at the time of the request will be refunded to you. You must submit your request in writing to [email protected]

Once you obtain your notary commission, complete and pass the National Notary Association Signing Agent Certification exam, you can get started marketing your services to obtain appointments.

It depends on YOU.  You can complete all of the modules within one day.  Most of my trainees have completed the training in a week and then start to work on obtaining their notary commissions and learning how to explain the closing documents.

You can’t afford not to fit it in your life! We are resilient and we can figure out anything that is thrown our way. This is exactly why implementing time management strategies are essential in our lives to help us to accomplish what is important to us and our households. Starting your new business will be life changing. You can do this!  

This training is an investment in YOU and it will allow you to focus your efforts directly on the specific tasks needed to become a notary signing agent without wasting time and money trying figure out how to do all of this on your own. The training will guide you to from start to the finish and if you implement what you've learned, you will have your initial investment back into your bank account in less time than if you tried to do this on your own. 

It all depends on YOU.  You can complete modules 1 through 6 within one day.  Most of my trainees have completed these modules in a week. The rest of their time is spent on studying the sample closing packages and practicing how to explain them, starting with the cash deal, then the sell side and last, the loan package.  Realistically, you can get started in 30 to 60 days depending if you are already a notary or not and need to apply for your license.

Once you’ve paid for the training registration fee in its entirety, you will receive a welcome email from The Side Gig Hustler with the login and access information to log into the training. 

You will be able to interact with Monica personally biweekly during predetermined office hours and you will have Monica's telephone number to reach her and you can always send an email with any questions or concerns.
