Happy New Year Hustlers!

Welcome to a new year, a new month and another chance to get "IT" right.

Whatever "IT" is that you didn't fulfill last year, you have another chance to make "IT" happen this year.

I'm not one of those types that sits and ponder about what I didn't accomplish last year because it is a waste of my time. But I will tell you what has helped me with my goal setting and planning for this year.

1 - Dwell on what you WILL do. Don't dwell on what you didn't do. Be intentional. ACTION and follow through is where I focus my energy.

2 - Take more risks - educated, that is.  Please don't do anything on a whim or "off cuff". I research and plan out what I want to do and weigh the pros and the cons. The key is that I don't give myself a lot of time to ponder on the decision.  The longer I wait, I'll procrastinate, which is NOT beneficial to me or my clients.

3 - Be YOU and do YOU! - Don't worry about what the next person is doing because they aren't worrying about you!  If someone else is doing something similar to what you are doing, they are a positive influence and they are making money, then this is GOOD! That gives you some validation that there are people out there that will pay money for that solution. Add that extra spice on it, other than your personality, and showcase how your solution is better.

4 - Research ALL of your ideas.  If you have a business idea that solves a problem you think someone will pay for, then it deserves to be researched and validated.  Don't rely on what your friends or family say whether it's a good idea or not. You need to know what the results of your research brings.  Several of my clients made this mistake and I've helped them bring back that idea and it was profitable for them!

5 - Find the time to start the business.  We aren't getting any younger and having regrets will only add unnecessary stress.  Sit down and journal your time and carve out 30 to 60 minutes to spend on increasing your knowledge, taking or finishing a training, brainstorming your idea, conducting research, finding a mentor etc.  Every bit of effort on your end will help you reach your goal.

Once you actively make minor shifts in your habits and mindset, you can accomplish more than you realize.  Try it out and make it happen!  It will benefit you tremendously!

Let's get it!
